Spent quite a while today running cables to try and make them as unobtrusive as possible!

This is the remote camera I use to take the pictures. Thanks to Colab for the loan.

A security camera that points at the sky? People don’t seem so worried about this when they find out it’s an art thing.

This is the real part of it. The area around the gallery is littered with these lighting standards. They immediately caught my eye and seem at odds with their environment. However, they do very well at capturing the light.

The exhibition is a group show with Clinton Watkins, Leo Zhou, and Mengmeng Guo. Showing from February 3 as part of Archipelago / Timing-Spaces. Curated by Nolwenn Hugain-Lacire and supported most professionally by Matt Blomeley and Auckland City.

Come along to the opening at NorthArt from 5pm on Sunday February 3. Here’s the Facebook event..
